Optical delay line gives the possibility to delay laser pulses by up to 3400 ps with the accuracy of 0.1 ps/step. The delay line is equipped with two roof mirrors shifted with respect to each other by a mechanical driver connected to a step motor. Photodiode controller detects step number zero which corresponds to the minimal length of the optical path in the loop. The length of the optical path can be controlled by computer. The input and output beams are mutually parallel. The active part of the delay line is 18 mm.
